COURSE UPDATE

Hi  all members,

This weekend we have decided to have the carts out on the course. the fine weather this week has done wonders to the course, and we will allow them to be used. The responsibility is on the golfer now; following the geofence’s and messages on the screen is important, as well as any cart signs that you come across. The geofencing has been altered and you will notice that some fairways are to be used. While driving, keep an eye out on the screen in the cart for approaching fences.  I have spent some time adding messages to areas and they should be read and followed for continuous use. Reports received about miss-use and continuous fence breaching will result in further closures.

Please be aware that this is still on a day-by-day basis. Saturday’s weather is looking settled but not so good for Sunday. I will be checking the weather in the AM on Sunday and reporting my decision to the office before 7am. In these uncertain times it will be strictly MEMBERS ONLY for carts, allowing our members first and to get a real handle on our Geofencing.

Please feel free to send feedback on the geofencing as this is a GPS system that isn’t quite accurate and more of a guide, so there is always fine tuning to be done. Fingers crossed for further weather like this to allow course conditions for all.

Course Tining

Our scheduled tining due a couple of weeks back ended with one run in. You would have noticed that the course was opened back up and no tining was achieved. Our first run we blew a ram and is soon to be fixed. I am checking fixture dates to try for a reasonable time and its looking like Thursday the 8th and Friday the 9th. We are well overdue so this will have to be squeezed in when we can. Exact dates will be communicated asap.

Regards
