Dear Members,
Following on from Hennies’ email earlier today, a few of our members have responded and asked me to pass the details to you all of a meeting being held at the Swanson Community Meeting Hall (Behind the Church) this coming week. It is being run by Sharon Davies, Council rep, who will outline the changes planned by the council and advise what we can do to object.
If any of you wish to attend, this will be held on 28th September at 7pm
The more objections the council receives, the higher the chance this decision will be appealed - it currently does have the potential to dramatically increase our rates cost and as a result, the club may cease to be a viable concern.
