Hi to all members,

In the last 10 days we have had 105mls of rainfall and it’s fair to say the course is suffering a bit in our problem areas. This week we have placed more ropes and signs out on the course and we expected that they are followed for your safety and course care. If the ropes are moved for your shots can you place them back where they were so they continue to serve their purpose.

This week I have been working with Josh to set up the Geo-fencing for the new fleet of carts. We are still fine tuning some areas and decent pathways. Until this is finalised we won’t be running a nine hole only policy. The weather forecast for overnight and for Saturday's play isn’t looking the greatest and there is a big chance that we won’t have them running this weekend. Please check with the office the morning  before your round for updated info on course conditions.

8th Tee

The men’s tee is now open. Can we please make more of an effort to use the sand that is provided (on all the tee’s)!! After having it open for less than a day it was disappointing to see that the majority of divots weren’t fixed with the sand. Being a new tee area I thought that more effort would have been had on it.

I hear a lot of feedback from members about others not doing their part with repairing divots, pitch marks and bunkers. It’s a hard gig out there at the moment trying to get stuff done in the conditions we have without having to tidy up after you ALL!! A paid membership doesn’t give anyone right to just do what they like. Like others that I hear from,we have had enough. Reality is we will always have tees that are struggling without divot replacement; greens that battle with disease and dumpiness due to pitch marks being left and overall poor conditions due to the lack of course care in general from the ones that play out there.

Course Closures

On Monday and Tuesday (13th & 14th of June) we will have nines shut for some much needed maintenance. Next week we will be tining the greens and if the weather holds out we will be sand top dressing over top. Which nine will be first is unknown at this stage. A call will be made first thing Monday morning.
