Notice is hereby given that the 55th Annual General Meeting of Redwood Park Golf Club Inc., will be held in the Club Rooms at 13 Knox Road, Swanson, at 7pm on WEDNESDAY 5th November 2025.
Business:
- Approve the 2024 AGM Minutes
- Receive Reports
- Election of Officers, Committees, Patron and Vice Patron
- Vote on any Notice of Motions received
- Any other business approved by the Board of Management
- General Business
Notice of Motion: Any qualified member wishing to bring any Motion before the Annual General Meeting of the Redwood Park Golf Club Inc., to be held on Wednesday 5th November 2025, must give notice in writing to the General Manager not later than 12 midday on Thursday 23rd October 2025.
The Women’s Board Representative will be nominated from the Women’s Annual General Meeting that will be held at the Club House at 8am on Saturday 18th October 2025.
The veterans group will decide on a committee to manage Veterans golf.
Election of Officers (Board of Management)
Club President: Must have been a Full Playing Member for at least 4 Years and to have served on a Redwood Park Golf Club Committee for at least 2 Years.
Club Captain: Must have been a Full Playing Member for at least 4 Years and to have served on a Redwood Park Golf Club Committee for at least 2 Years.
Board Member: Must have been a Full Playing or Midweek Member for at least 3 Years and served on a Redwood Park Golf Club Committee for at least 1 Year.
Three Board members are required.
Finance Director: To be appointed by the Board of Management.
Presidents Committee: (Social and House) Committee of 4 required.
Captain’s Committee (Golf): Consisting of a Vice Captain, Junior Director, North Golf delegate and up to 8 committee members
Patron and Vice Patron
Note:
1) Nominations for Officers, Board and Committee members must be on the nomination forms
available from the office, and will be accepted at the office from Thursday 2nd October 2025, signed by the proposer, seconder ( both of whom must be financial members) and the candidate and delivered to the General Manager. Nominations close at 4pm on Thursday 23rd October 2025. Refer to the Club website (members’ news) for the nomination form.
2) Proxy voting: Financial members may vote by a signed original written proxy (an email or copy not being acceptable) in favour of some individual entitled to be present at the meeting, and received by, or handed to the Board before the commencement of the meeting. (Clause 18.3 of the Club’s constitution.)
