Dear Members,

It is with deep regret that we, the Board, find ourselves in the unhappy position of having to accept the resignation of Gary Peacham our General Manager. This advice saddens not only the Board but will be disappointing to the vast majority of Gary's staff and the Membership as a whole.

In his short time with us Gary has made a huge difference to the day to day running of the club. He has worked closely with Board while getting us through some extremely difficult issues in a truly professional manner. We have been fortunate to benefit from his knowledge and experience in the corporate world.

From the outset Gary was being approached for some high-level positions. He enjoyed his challenges with us so much that he constantly turned these offers down. Finally in the last months the offers became too good to refuse and he has, unfortunately for us, decided to move on. Gary has given us time to go through the difficult process of finding his replacement with his final day being Oct 14th.

Gary has expressed his disappointment that his time at our club will end as he has thoroughly enjoyed the challenges that his roll presented. In his words, he will value the time he has spent at the club and friendships that he has made during his time.

Gary has given us sufficient notice to enable time for him to pass over the contacts, sponsors and sponsorships that he secured on our behalf. 

I am sure you will all catch up with Gary in the coming weeks and thank him, as we the Board will, for being part of Redwood Park Golf Club.
