CORING
Course opened

Hi to all members,

Due to the weather bomb that hit early and most of the morning today, our coring has been delayed. With the forecast for the rest of the week reading unsettled condition,s it’ll make it hard to preform our coring practice at the required standard.

Dry weather is required for coring, from pulling out the cores, cleaning them up, sand and dragging practice and getting an accurate seeding application; therefore, we have made the call to move this work to next week (March 28th –April 1st) where the weather forecast is looking more settled.

From tomorrow the course will be back open for play, however, Thursday and Friday we will require a nine to be shut each day to preform our solid tining; this process takes time and if we get over the course this week and the weather plays ball next week, it will speed the coring process up.

Thursday 24th of March - Front nine closed to solid tine holes 1-8, Back nine open for golf on holes 9-17.

Twilight will be on from 3pm

Friday 25th of March – Back nine closed for solid tine holes 9-17, Front nine open for golf on holes 1-8.

The office will be working towards getting the tee sheets ready for bookings but we please ask for your patience, from all the grounds staff thank you for your understanding that these decisions are for the better of the course.

Everyone is requested to keep in touch with news updates as the weather will dictate when and how the coring is completed.

Regards
