Notice is hereby given that the 53rd Annual General Meeting of Redwood Park Golf Club Inc., will be held in the Clubrooms at 13 Knox Road, Swanson, at 7pm on WEDNESDAY 1st November 2023.
Business:
- Approve 2022 AGM Minutes
- Receive Reports
- Election of Officers, Committees, Patron and Vice Patron
- Vote on any Notice of Motions received
- Any other business approved by the Board of Management
- General Business
Notice of Motion: Any qualifying member wishing to bring any Motion before the Annual General Meeting of the Redwood Park Golf Club Inc., to be held on Wednesday 1st November 2023, must give notice in writing to the Secretary Manager not later than 3pm on SUNDAY 1st October 2023.
The Women’s Board Representative will be nominated from the Women’s Annual General Meeting that will be held at the Club House at 8am on Saturday 28th October 2023.
The veterans group will decide on a committee to manage Veterans golf.
Election of Officers (Board of Management)
Club President: Must have been a Full Playing Member for at least 4 Years and to have served on a Redwood Park Golf Club Committee for at least 2 Years.
Club Captain: Must have been a Full Playing Member for at least 4 Years and to have served on a Redwood Park Golf Club Committee for at least 2 Years.
Board Member: Must have been a Full Playing or Midweek Member for at least 3 Years and served on a Redwood Park Golf Club Committee for at least 1 Year.
One Board member is required [There is one vacant position for election, Scott Wood and Michael Nelson served 1 year of a 2 year role on the Board]
Finance Director: To be appointed by the Board of Management.
Presidents Committee: (Social and House) Committee of 4 required.
Captain’s Committee (Golf): Consisting of a Vice Captain, Junior Director, North Golf delegate and up to 8 committee members
Patron and Vice Patron
Note: Nominations for Officers, Board and Committee members must be on the nomination form
available from the office, and will be accepted at the office from Thursday 21st September 2023, signed by the proposer, seconder ( both of whom must be financial members) and the candidate and delivered to the Secretary Manager. Nominations close at 4pm on Wednesday 11th October 2023. Refer to the Club website (members’ news) for the nomination form.
